MycoChemo is a blend of herbs designed to support conventional cancer therapy.
It strengthens the body, supports the blood and reduces the negative effects of chemotherapy. It injures body fluids, which leads to drying of blood and mucous membranes, including the skin. Blood is the carrier of Qi and its depletion causes fatigue, not improved by rest. Blood belongs to Yin and prolonged emptiness of blood leads to emptiness of Yin Kidneys, which manifests as feelings of heat, especially at night.
The Stomach is also an organ susceptible to injury from fluids. Emptiness of the Yin Stomach leads to nausea and the urge to vomit. Reduced food intake weakens the Spleen, thus completing the circle. The result is weight loss, chills, excessive sleepiness and weakened immunity. Yin support during chemotherapy increases the chance of successful treatment and improves thermoregulation and sleep.
The Maitake in the blend strengthens Qi, helps to remove toxins and lightens the body. Pseudostellaria, glehnia and anamarena support fluids. Anamarena also clears heat and releases fire from the emptiness of Yin Kidney. The chisel nourishes the blood and promotes circulation and nourishment of the tissues. Jujube complements the Spleen and Stomach and harmonizes the blend.
The blend is very well tolerated and does not diminish the effects of conventional treatments. It helps to regenerate burnt mucous membranes after radio or chemotherapy. It is a suitable complement to vital mushrooms with specific anti-cancer effects.
