Vitamin E is vital for the human body. Tocopheryl acetate is formed artificially, is more stable and prolongs the life of the product slightly more than natural tocopherol. However, it is less absorbable for the skin. Tocopherol is formed by vacuum separation from vegetable oils and is well absorbed into the skin. Both vitamins E are strong antioxidants, fight the effects of free radicals, prevent premature aging (pigment spots, wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity) and reduce scaling skin. They act as preservatives in cosmetics.
