The use of the recipe according to traditional Chinese medicine:
-clears full heat, cools blood
-supplements Yin Ledvin
-Zhi Beng - stops heavy menstrual bleeding
-harmonizes menstrual cycle
Description:
Beng Lou is the Chinese term for excessive gynecological bleeding that occurs off-cycle, unexpectedly. However, the blend is also great for dealing with bleeding during menstruation (it is very heavy and the menstrual cycle tends to be shortened). So the bleeding is heavy, with rushes of blood, the blood seems to drip constantly, or there is incessant spotting. The colour of the blood is bright red or red, sometimes with purple clots, the blood is thick. Urinary problems may occur, urine tends to be darker. The full heat dries out the fluids, so the woman often has a dry mouth and thirst. The heat also bothers Shen's spirit - there is irritability, going up to anxiety and worse sleep.
The most frequent sources of full-blown heat are either the Heart or, even more often, the Liver, which is also closely related to menstruation itself. The liver fills with blood the Chong Mai - the central pathway that triggers menstruation. When heat then enters there, it expels blood either at an unexpected moment and/or too forcefully. Heat most often forms in them from stagnation caused by either emotion or lack of blood. And because the bleeding itself causes a great loss of blood, the vicious circle is closed... Heat can also enter the blood from the empty heat of the insufficiency of yin substances, which turns into fire.
To effectively resolve this syndrome, we must clear the heat, nourish the Yin/blood and stop the bleeding. The first function is fulfilled by both rehmannia and peony, which purify the heat from the blood, and gardenia, coneflower and cork tree, which purify the heat from the Liver and triple radiant, discharging fire and thus stopping the bleeding. In addition, there are the "direct" bleeding stoppers - the raven toten and the zerav. The Yin complements our rehmannia and the oyster settles the Liver and calms the spirit of the Shen. So the blend works holistically on all levels.
Indications:
-excessive gynecological bleeding outside the cycle (from hotness)
-heavy menstruation (from hotness)
-red or purple, thicker menstrual blood
-spotting
-shortened menstrual cycle

-metrorrhagia - excessive gynecological bleeding outside the cycle

Contraindications:

It is generally said that we need at least three cycles to adjust the menstrual cycle. However, the mixture is not administered alone for longer - the root of the problem, i.e. why the heat formation occurs, needs to be addressed and most often the Liver and Kidney Yin blood needs to be replenished.
